Details Information of UPSC Forest Service Exam 2022
Age Limit:
Candidates, age should be 21-32 years as of 01-08-2022 (i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1990 and not later than 1st August 2001). Age relaxation is applicable by 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC candidates as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have a Bachelor degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology, or a Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Selection process:
The Indian Forest Service Examination will consist of two successive stages.
(i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination; and
(ii) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service.
Nationality:
For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
Application Fee:
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay the fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or by using Internet Banking of SBI.
How To Apply UPSC Forest Service Exam 2022
The registration is divided into two parts — Part-I and Part-II. The last date to submit the application form is 22.02.2022 (6 pm). The candidate has to read instructions and press “I agree” button after he /she finds that information supplied by him /her is in order and no correction is required.
A registration number will be generated which the candidate has to note down. The applicant has to pay the fees and select the center, upload a scanned photograph, and signature. After completing the application, an auto-generated email will be sent to the registered email id.
